Sustainability

At Priority Graphics, we recognise that an estimated up to 90% of printed materials from exhibitions are often discarded after a single use, contributing significantly to industry waste. We also understand that many wide-format printing materials, such as PVC banners, are difficult to recycle and frequently end up in landfills.

With the UK government’s focus on net-zero targets and waste reduction, it’s clear that we in the exhibition industry need to adopt more sustainable practices. That’s why we are committed to taking action.

Our actions so far:

Take Back Scheme

Many graphic textiles face recycling challenges and often end up in landfills or incineration. To address this, we offer a free take-back service to ensure these materials are properly recycled. Returned textiles are sent to specialist facilities where they are converted into low-grade plastic products for the traffic industry.

Priority Graphics is proud to provide this service at no extra cost, underscoring our commitment to sustainable practices and a greener future.

Black Block-out Fabric:

A lot of our clients use foamex and velcro on their exhibition stands. While these materials look good and get the job done, they are far from efficient. They pose challenges in terms of transportation due size and weight, not to mention that they can’t be recycled

Determined to find a more sustainable solution, we sourced a black block-out fabric which looks great, is lightweight and portable, saves on ink, is designed for multiple uses and can be recycled through our take back scheme, where it will then be made into low grade traffic solutions.

Ecoboard Furniture:

We have sourced a strong reboard material that we can make into various items of furniture and other displays. Ecoboard is FSC certified cardboard which is easily recyclable or reusable for future events. It’s lightweight and can be flat packed for easy transport and storage.
